Brian Shaw was born on February 26, 1982, in Fort Lupton, Colorado, the U.S. to Jay and Bonnie Shaw. Both o his parents were taller than average as his father was 6 feet 1 inch and the other was 5 feet 11 inches. 

Talking about his education, he joined  Fort Lupton High School where he was a basketball player. Later on, he joined Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. He joined a Black Hills State University where he received a full basketball scholarship and arrived degree in wellness management.

The 38 yaers old Brian Shaw is in a marital relationship with Keri Shaw who is a fitness enthusiast and former teacher. Currently, she is the owner of the CrossFit facility. 

They shared the wedding vows in the year 2015 in a very closed ceremony. Together they have shared two sons: Braxton Shaw, born in June 2016, and Kellen Shaw, born in May 2018.
