Thure Lindhardt was born on 24th December 1974, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was raised in Roskilde.

The names of his father Mogens Lindhardt and mother Anne Lindhardt. He doesn’t have siblings. He is of Denish nationality and white ethnicity.

Lindhardt has attended the Odense Theatre where he studied acting and graduated in 1998. As for his age and height, Lindhardt is 46 years old and 5 feet 11 (1.82) inches tall, as of 2020.

Thure Lindhardt was first cast in a film Pelle the Conqueror directed by Bille August. He was 12 years old at the time. Later in 2000, he made headlines after appearing on A Place Nearby alongside Ghita Nørby.

In 2009, Lindhardt portrayed Lieutenant Chartrand in Ron Howard‘s mystery thriller film, the Angels & Demons.

Later in 2012 and 2013, he appeared in television series The Spiral and feature film Adieu Paris respectively. He received the Lauritzen Award in 2014.

Lindhardt has also notably appeared in season 3 of television series The Bridge in 2015. He portrayed detective Henrik Sabroe on the series, alongside Sofia Helin and Kim Bodnia.
