Early Life And Childhood
Simone Arianne Biles, or famously known as Simone Biles, was born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ronald Biles and Sharon Biles. The third of four siblings born to Ronald and Sharon, Simone and her siblings were in and out of foster care when her mother couldn’t care for her four children.
Her maternal grandfather officially adopted Simone and her younger sister, Adria, in 2003, with the older two siblings being adopted by their maternal aunt. She received her secondary-level education at home.
Personal Life And Relationships
Since August 2017, Simone Biles has been in a relationship with fellow gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr.
They were first acquainted during the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships. Their friendship quickly blossomed to love, and they have been together ever since.
Sexual Assault Allegations
On January 18, 2018, Simone came forward and accused Larry Nassar, the doctor and physician of the USA Gymnastics national team, of sexual assault, becoming one of 250 women and girls to accuse Nassar of sexual assault.
Nassar was found guilty of various offences, including sexually molesting a minor, possession of child pornography, and sexual assault, and as of July 2017, he spends a life sentence in a Michigan state prison.
