The former footballer has a foundation called The Pat McAfee Foundation that helps military personnel and veterans.

He also bought a car for a military family, in collaboration with Wish for Our Heroes Foundation, he bought the family a brand-new SUV out of his own pocket, which was given to the family in a surprise reunion at a game.

McAfee cut off his long signature hair to support Locks of Love, an organization providing wigs for children suffering from cancer and other such diseases.   

NFL Career Insight

McAfee started his career in professional football after he was drafted into the Indianapolis Colts in 2009. He excelled in his first season with the Colts. In fact, he starred in the team and helped them reach the AFC South, the AFC Championship and Super Bowl XLIV.

He spent eight years with the Colts, which was his whole professional career, during that time he made the Pro Bowl twice and also made the First-team All-Pro. He was also named in the PFWA All-Rookie Team in his first year in the NFL.

Work With Barstool Sports

After retiring from football in 2016, he joined Barstool Sports. He worked in the company for a while and developed their Heartland division.

The star also hosted his own radio show for Barstool Sports on SiriusXM channel Barstool Power 85. Later he left the show on August 31, 2018, after he found the business operations of the company not transparent enough.

Pat McAfee was born on May 2, 1987, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the USA to Tim McAfee and Sally McAfee. Pat went to Plum High School and used a borrowed $100 for a poker game where he turned the $100 to $1,400.

He later used the funds to go to Miami for a football opportunity. He then joined West Virginia and played football for them, making him an instant hit on the list of the top prospects.

Regarding his relationships, he is engaged to his girlfriend, Samantha Ludy as of April 2020. They got engaged in February 2019.
