Muska began skateboarding at a young age and spent most of his time skateboarding with professional skateboarder Erik Ellington (prior to both of their successful careers). 

Chad eventually moved to Mission Beach with his sketchbook, a portable cassette player, and very little money in order to pursue his career in art and skateboarding.

Short Career Highlights 

Chad began his career as a skateboarder in early 1994 for Maple. Around the time, he also appeared in the video Rites of Passage. 

Following his departure from Maple, he joined a skateboarding company called Toy Machine. He quickly became a leading member of the team, facilitating Elissa Steamer’s sponsorship. Hee was teamed alongside fellow skateboarders Mike Maldonado, Ed Templeton, Jamie Thomas, and Brian Anderson. 

In 1997, Muska left Toy Machine due to some issues and joined the then-fledgling Shorty’s brand. He was chosen to develop the skateboard deck division from which the company thrived. During his time in the company, he was best known for his appearance in the 1998 skateboarding video Fulfill The Dream. 

In 1999, Chad joined the C1RCA footwear team as the first pro skater for the company and released numerous signature shoe models such as CM901 and CM902. 

Moreover, in 2006, Chad joined the Element Skateboards ad his skateboard deck sponsor. The same year, he founded the Supra footwear company alongside Angel Cabada. His first supra model, ‘Skytop’ was released and promoted in 2007, whereas, Skytop II was released in 2009. 

His shoes reportedly cost around $100 per pair in stores around the store. It is also available at Supre retailers and the brand’s website, suprashoes.com.
