Controversial Statements: Sued By Family Members Of  Sandy Hook Elementary School Victims

Regarding the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, Alex Jones got huge criticism for falsely propagating those incidents, stating “hoax.”

Six families of the Sandy Hook victims along with an FBI agent filed a defamation lawsuit against him, in March 2018, demanding $1 million in damages.

Moreover, Leonard Pozner, the father of a Sandy Hook shooting victim, added in a defamation lawsuit. Later in October & December of 2019, Jones and his website InfoWars was fined a total of $126,000.

In January 2013, Alex Jones, a gun advocate, sparked controversy after he opposed Piers Morgan on the CNN show & commented: “1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms”.
